  My son and I enjoyed his official NCAA Football visit last month at SDSMT. The Coaching Staff and Professors seem to really be genuine and care about both the student and the athlete. Impressed that the professors spent time with my son showing him around vs. just a student tour. There is a real emphasis on helping the student (& athlete) with their Cap and Gown program. Didn't take long to recognize the value in their top ranking in engineering. Having looked all over the county the past year it was evident that this is the place to get your diploma without the debt! Unless your into spending $80k-$160k MORE for equivalent degree!!! Beautiful area also as we were pleasantly surprised by the community and its beauty as we live in Seattle and were concerned. Rapid City suprizingly has a population of 70,000 and the people are very friendly and just want to visit with you. Love the Football Coaching Staff as they got it going on and this program will be taken to new heights! Go Rockers!

  Really not impressed. While the teachers are nice; the management and office staff is lacking. They really do not offer any classes for kids in between 4 and 5. There's turbo tots for the little kids and stars for the older kids. Also when asked to switch classes at the beginning of the month, they keep your money ; therefore, making it so you have to go back even though they've asked you to switch classes. News flash not all kids are Olympic gymnasts. I gave this place a shot for over 2 years and still not impressed; don't waste your time, try the gymnastics academy and prima who allow kids to be kids but still enforce learning.

  As a single, working mother I needed a safe, nurturing environment for my son and I found that here. Each and every teacher truly cares about him. The activities, projects and field trips keep him stimulated and happy, and he comes home asking questions about everything from the solar system to how plants grow and more! The building and yard are private and there is a security code to get in which is just that added comfort knowing your child is secure. It's like a little family away from home, and it reassures this mom that we have hit the jackpot with preschools!!!

• Review of "Canyon Lake Resort" at Rapid City

  Canyon Lake Resort is located a few minutes from downtown Rapid City. It sits next to Canyon Lake and is a quiet, peaceful location. The 2 bedroom cabin was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything to enjoy a meal. Staff was great and was able to answer any Great questions we had about the area.It was a great place to stay.
